Biltong has always been more than just a snack to me it’s a taste of home.
Born in Zimbabwe and growing up surrounded by the sights, sounds and flavours of Africa, biltong was always a part of everyday life. It was something enjoyed with family and friends, shared on road trips, taken along on adventures and enjoyed whenever you wanted a little taste of home.
For generations, biltong has been made in our family, with traditional recipes and methods passed down through the years. The process has always been about keeping things simple, quality cuts of beef, carefully selected spices, traditional flavours and time.
When I moved to the UK, I found myself missing those familiar flavours and that unmistakable taste of home. That’s where Biltong Bay was born.
I wanted to bring that authentic African biltong experience to the UK, made with the same passion, care and traditional inspiration that has been part of our family for years.
